In New Zealand the law requires a GST invoice to say "Tax Invoice" . What can I modify to make this happen? Or is there an existing mod for NZers?
You can do that by changing it in the language.php files, however I have had a quick look and can not see straight away which file that has 'invoice' but it should be there.
Not at PC at the moment, but I think it's either
Its on line 39 of the order.php file
$_['text_invoice'] = 'Invoice';
$_['text_invoice'] = 'Tax Invoice';
Hi, this is also the case for Australia. I forgot all about this.
Maybe this is an option maybe for a later release?
In the UK it would be called VAT Invoice, but we are OK just to specify Invoice
If it were changed to Tax Invoice this would confuse UK customers and probably other European customers too.
Therefore, I doubt it will be changed in a future release.
If support for this grows, it could be another variable picked up during the Localisation process, just like Currency Symbol and Date Display.
That's what I was thinking as well. That it is in the Localisation options.
